Allah is Powerful “al-Qadir,” i.e., the One attributed with the Perfect Power. The Power of Allah is an eternal and everlasting attribute by which Allah affects the mental possibility—meaning that which is mentally possible to exist at one time and not exist at another. The Power of Allah is not related to the mental necessity, or to the mental impossibility. Allah said in Surat al-^Imran verse #29:

﴿ويعلم ما في السموات وما في الأرض والله على كلّ شيء قدير﴾ سورة ءال عمران.

This verse means: [And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth and Allah has Power over all things].
