What is the meaning of the saying of Allah ta^ala about [Prophet] Yusuf in Surat Yusuf verse #24: ﴿ وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهِ وَهَمَّ بِهَا لَوْلا أَن رَّأَى بُرْهَانَ رَبِّهِ ﴾ سورة يوسف ?
This verse means:
And she certainly initiated to commit adultery with him, and he intended to push her away from him, had he not received the inspiration from his Lord (that if he pushed her, he would be accused of being the attacker himself)
[It reads: wa Laqad hammat bihi wa hamma biha]. What is the meaning of “wa hamma biha”?
